New archetype
The Shoefresh Opod is the new archetype for shoe fresheners. It features three programs: sport, sneaker, and leather. Additionally, it is suitable for all shoe sizes and types of footwear.
Furthermore, the design enhances ease of use, as the device automatically turns on when you place the shoes on it.
Together with Shoefresh we elevated the design of the previous Shoefresh, both functionally and in user experience. By doing so, we enhanced Shoefresh's position in the market.

Brand identity
The original Shoefresh was an OEM product, resulting in a very limited alignment of user experience and styling with the vision and brand values of Shoefresh.
Furthermore, an increasing number of imitation products entered the market, undermining the brand identity and exclusivity of Shoefresh. The new design sets a new mark for the competition.
Optimal placement
We conducted extensive functional tests to determine the optimal placement of shoes on the device: horizontally or vertically. While the previous Shoefresh used vertical orientation, thorough comparison tests led us to the conclusion that the horizontal orientation not only enhances user-friendliness but also improves shoe drying.
Fitting design
With its sleek lines, color contrasts, and design elements from the sports and sneaker world, the design of the Shoefresh Opod seamlessly aligns with the target audience and the brand values.
The intuitive controls and clear forms make it immediately clear how to place your shoes. A simple product kept simple.
Optimal airflow
During thorough testing, we learned all about airflow and drying characteristics and we translated this into an appealing shape. The positioning of the air vents in the shoe pods are all carefully placed, ensuring optimal airflow to areas in the shoes that are typically challenging to dry, while considering the large variety of shoe types.
