Cost-effective and high-quality
A patient must be able to fully rely on the correct contents and description of pre-packaged medicine pouches. Together with ZiuZ Medical, we have developed IRIS for full digital monitoring and control. Our design has been awarded an IF GOLD award and is by now a commercial success.
Precursors of the IRIS are several times larger and relatively expensive to purchase and maintain. In the development of IRIS, the focus was on creating a far compacter and lighter scanner, suitable for smaller pharmacies.

Small series production
IRIS was intended to enter a new market segment, making it difficult to estimate sales numbers. That's why we focused on enabling small series and flexible production, but still with the form freedom and CMF (colour, material, finish) of an injection moulded product. Vacuum casting covers and sheet metal structures became the basis of our design.
Starting point
For maintenance, wear parts and electronics had to be easily replaceable. The product is therefore modular and quicker to assemble. Our integrated design approach made this product cost-effective and high-quality, resulting in the prestigious IF Gold award.
Result
IRIS already enables many pharmacists and small hospitals to do faster and automated inspections, giving the opportunity to the professional to work more efficient and to focus once again on giving advice and service to patients.
